LEGO exhibit of world landmarks, icons hits Manila this December

MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos can visit famous world landmarks and icons — at least ones built from LEGO bricks — when the “Brickman Wonders of the World” exhibit arrives in the Philippines next month.

The exhibit comes from the mind of Ryan McNaught, the eponymous Brickman who is one of several LEGO Certified Professionals in the world and the only one in the Southern Hemisphere.

McNaught leads a team of LEGO brick artists who spent hours designing and constructing the exhibit’s pieces, some of them composed more than 164,000 pieces.

More than 45 LEGO structures standing up to 3.6 meters high, including the Taj Mahal of India and the Arc de Triomphe from Paris, France, some of the team’s works.  

Other landmarks that were featured in “Brickman Wonders of the World” are Russia’s Kremlin and Italy’s Leaning Tower of Pisa, even artworks like the Mona Lisa and the David statue.

The exhibit will be set up at The Space at Solaire, courtesy of GMG Productions, after the “Friends” exhibit, “The One in Manila,” finishes its run.

The company’s chief executive officer, Carlos Candal, said in a statement that GMG is thrilled to bring the exhibit to the Philippines for the very first time.

“‘Brickman Wonders of the World’ brings together creativity, craftsmanship, and shared experiences,” Candal said. “This is something the whole family can enjoy together throughout the holidays and into the new year.”

The exhibit will also feature a LEGO certified store, where guests can purchase exclusive sets or build their own creations, an ideal destination for the upcoming holiday season.

“Brickman Wonders of the World” will run at The Space at Solaire from December 12, 2025 to February 8, 2026. Tickets are now available via TicketWorld.
