MANILA, Philippines — Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo reopened the doors of its branch near Taguig’s Bonifacio High Street, introducing new services tailored to highlight clients’ creativity and sustainability.
The four-storey branch opened to the public again on November 7, utilizing even more of its nearly 3,000-square-meter retail space, plus a giant LED screen displaying the brand’s iconic red logo.
Highlighting the store is the brand’s LifeWear collection, functional and practical clothing for everyday life, for men, women and children.
Uniqlo Philippines Chief Operating Officer Geraldine Sia described the branch as a “landmark in continuing to elevate the overall LifeWear shopping experience for customers.”
“We wanted to bring together the best of Uniqlo’s global store design and the local character of Bonifacio Global City, resulting in a lifestyle hub that feels both world-class and deeply connected to the community,” Sia added.
Situated across the large space are custom in-store experiences like the UTme! service where customers can create their own one-of-a-kind T-shirt on the fourth floor.
Also on the top floors is the Philippines’ newest Re.Uniqlo Studio, which offers repair and embroidery services for both new and old LifeWear items.
Meanwhile, on the ground floor, the Click & Collect service makes for an easier way for clients to purchase by ordering online and simply picking up their items at any other branch of their choosing, with no minimum spend required.
For the store’s reopening, Uniqlo collaborated with volunteer-led organization Cats of BGC for exclusive, feline-inspired embroidery patches and three creatives for designs visualizing the BGC township’s character.
Muralist Avin Doodles created prints highlighting the BGC’s pet-friendly culture, Jasmin Lacay created prints highlighting the township’s active lifestyle, and Bonifacio Arts Foundation Inc. showcased elements of iconic BGC murals
