MANILA — South Korea’s popular fried chicken and craft beer chain Daily Beer is set to open its first outlet in the Philippines this month at Arcovia City in Pasig, bringing the well-loved “chimaek” (chicken and beer) experience to Manila.
The Korean restaurant chain, which operates more than 400 locations worldwide, is known for its signature crispy fried chicken, flavorful sauces, and a selection of freshly brewed craft beers served extra cold. Customers can also enjoy Korean comfort food favorites such as gimbap, tteokbokki, and sweet and spicy chicken gangjeong.
According to a report from Asia Brewers Network, Daily Beer collaborates with various Korean microbreweries to offer a rotating range of exclusive craft beers.
Kirkland Whang, chairman of Daily Beer Philippines, was quoted as saying that the restaurant will introduce Manila diners to Korean-style craft beer and popular comfort dishes.
Founded in 2014, Daily Beer has grown into one of South Korea’s largest chicken-and-beer chains, with outlets across Singapore, Thailand, and now the Philippines.
The company plans to open additional branches in Metro Manila, with 10 more outlets set to follow over the next two years.
